Trim!!

Things are really coming together now. They did all the trim work and installed the cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms. Also they put in the little locker / coat rack area in the laundry room! They are painting this week, then it'll just be a mad dash to get all the other little details finalized.

Drywall!

The place is really coming together now. The drywall is done in all the rooms and now they just need to do the sanding and texturing, then all other finish work (which is still a lot) . Hopefully the house will be completed within the next few weeks! It's cool to see the rooms with drywall on, I definitely have a better idea of the room size and the overall layout of the house. I'm definitely getting excited to live there!!

My future office area! It's obviously a bedroom, but it'll be used as our office for now. It's hard to tell, but the view of our neighborhood is really cool from here.

House Updates!

I lost track of the days since they started on the house, but they've made a ton of process within the past two weeks. Liz and I went out there today and the roof is on and the windows are in. I'm guessing this week they'll start on the interior details like plumbing and electrical. I'm sure you don't want to see a ton of writing so here are all the pictures!!

Day 27 Update

We went out to the house today and they have the basement, garage floor and the driveway paved. I was hoping things would be a little further along at this point, but the builders got it under control, plus we had 2 major holidays in the mix. I'm pretty confident that they'll start framing this week. According to the weather forecast, it looks like we are on pace to have another unusually worm week. Praise God for this awesome weather! Our lease runs out at the end for march so we are really hoping our house will be ready by then. Here are some pictures from today. They have some cloth over the drive way, but we checked it's paved under there.
